I am happy you stopped by! My name is Denise Fischer and I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade for eighteen years in Missouri. I began building this thematic unit site eight years ago as a resource for myself so I would have my favorite poems, ideas and recipes at my fingertips when I needed them. I do not teach all of the units on this site every year but have used the activities at one time or another. I love trying new ideas and invite you to share your favorite activities with me! We are nearing the end of the school year! The year has gone by so fast as it always seems to do! Check out spring ideas on the March, April and May theme pages. You can also browse books in the March, April and May libraries. I hope you'll find some ideas that you can use in your classroom! Have a great end of the school year!
