I am happy you stopped by! My name is Denise Fischer and I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade for eighteen years in Missouri. I began building this thematic unit site eight years ago as a resource for myself so I would have my favorite poems, ideas and recipes at my fingertips when I needed them. I do not teach all of the units on this site every year but have used the activities at one time or another. I love trying new ideas and invite you to share your favorite activities with me!
