Shoestring licorice

 

2 packages (3.5 oz.) plain, unsalted microwave popcorn, popped (20 cups)

1/2

cup margarine or butter

1

package (16 oz., about 70) regular marshmallows

 

Reynolds® Crystal Color® Plastic Wrap

LINE a teddy bear specialty cake pan with overlapping sheets of Reynolds Plastic Wrap, leaving a 6 inch overhang. Place gumdrops and licorice in pan for eyes, nose, mouth and buttons; set aside.

PLACE popcorn in extra large mixing bowl; set aside. In 3-quart microwave-safe bowl, microwave margarine and marshmallows on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes. Stir. Microwave on HIGH 30 seconds to 1 minute longer. Stir until smooth. Pour over popcorn; stir until well coated.

SPOON popcorn mixture evenly into pan. Fold overhanging plastic wrap over mixture; press into pan. Cool. Invert teddy bear from pan.

TIE a long sheet of Reynolds Crystal Color Plastic Wrap around teddy bear's neck for bowtie. Trim edges at angles.
